About Gemini, 1947 Berthon Gauntlet

Gemini is a 14 ton Berthon Gauntlet built in 1947 by the Berthon Boat Company of Lymington, on the south coast of England. I became her owner in June 2008.
Here she is anchored off Crinan on the west coast of Scotland in September 2008, prior to a fairly major refit.
Why "Gemini"?
Gemini was originally launched with the name Gemini but had undergone a couple of name changes since. I decided to give her back her original name. It had started to resonate strongly with me. Partly because that was her first name, but also because of the association with navigating by the stars.
